1 Way Facebook Changed Dating

From Mashable

Dramatized in the above scene from the CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory, it’s the most classic Facebook dating dilemma: Who pulls the trigger to make a relationship official on Facebook first? It would be embarrassing to declare yourself to be in a relationship if your (you thought) significant other doesn’t reciprocate.

Changing Facebook relationship status has, for better or worse, joined first date, first kiss, first night together, exclusivity talk, and first “I love you” on the list of important relationship milestones. It’s one of the most awkward milestones because it’s public by necessity.

That first status change isn’t the only challenge. When a relationship ends, how soon is it okay to switch back to single? Doing so right away seems callous, but holding on for too long makes you look fixated. And God forbid that somebody break the news to her partner that she’s dumping him or her by publicly switching her status over to “Single.” But we’ve all heard stories of that happening.

We’ve also heard stories of people seeing their dates switch to “In a Relationship” with someone else. That can’t feel good.

Your friends' posts on your profile could be costing you that dream opportunity.

With more than 400 million active visitors, Facebook is arguably the most popular social networking site out there. And while the site is known for the casual social aspect, many users also use it as a professional networking tool. With that kind of reach, Facebook can be a valuable tool for connecting to former and current colleagues, clients and potential employers. In fact, surveys suggest that approximately 30% of employers are using Facebook to screen potential employees — even more than those who check LinkedIn, a strictly professional social networking site. Don't make these Facebook faux-pas — they might cost you a great opportunity.

1. Inappropriate Pictures

It may go without saying, but prospective employers or clients don't want to see pictures of you chugging a bottle of wine or dressed up for a night at the bar. Beyond the Read Full Article

Welcome Feltics to MIH

Feltics: Freedom of Expression with no Limits and Termination with Infinite Creative Styles.

Feltics was founded in summer of 2008 with Derek Yoon and business partner Sang In Bae who runs it in Korea.

Before 2008, Derek Yoon lived in the U.S. and started a website business with his friend Sang In Bae. In U.S., Derek would buy clothes and send it to Sang In Bae in Korea to sell and had their own fairly successful business.

Summer of 2008, the two of them got together and decided to make their own brand and came up with a simple name Feltics...because it sounded catchy and was very simple.

Feltics is considered a combination between urban and streetwear. The company started in Korea and within a short one year was recognized by almost every celebrity in Korea. Now in Korea, Feltics has more hits a day on the internet than Adidas. Now feltics has become a brand name in which almost everyone in the street now knows what it is.

Currently Feltics is in Korea, New Zealand, US, and Japan (only the backpack line). Our goal by 2012 is to enter Europe, China, and South America, making Feltics and worldwide recognizable brand. Feltics is still a very very young company (only 2 years old) and we just started out in US and we're going to get our name out there.

Amazing thing about this company is that no one prior to working in this company in the US or in Korea had ANY experience working with clothing. They decided to MAKE IT HAPPEN themselves by just going through it with their ideas and successfully complete a soon to be worldwide franchise. Right now we are based in Los Angeles, CA.
